As the leaves change colors and a crispness fills the air, there's no denying that fall is a season of coziness and connection.
It's a time to embrace the simple pleasures of life, and what better way to do that than by combining the soothing art of candle making with the indulgent pleasures of wine tasting and cheese pairing?
I worked with Jodi Burrough, owner of Grove City Brew and Plum Run Winery to brainstorm this very event.
I have done many on location events before with Aldi, LC Apartments, and countless others, but this one has to be my favorite experience by far. Probably because it has to deal with wine. I mean who doesn't love wine.
Being able to give guests, like you, a sensory experience has always been a passion of mine. To transport your senses to a destination of your choice or flash back to a memory of happiness fills me with joy. With event space, you too can create a sensory experience for your guests.
Introducing a fresh dimension of taste and texture that candle-making alone cannot provide expands my imagination, akin to the boundless expanse of the season.
Lets explore how this delightful trio creates the ultimate fall-themed event, offering warmth, relaxation, and sensory delight.
Now I will admit, there has now become such a high demand for this event that it sells out in just hours of posting, so if you happen to come across it. Grab tickets immediately!

The Art of Candle Making
Fall is all about creating a cozy ambiance, and candle making is the perfect craft to set the mood. Gather your friends or family, and spend an evening crafting your very own fall-scented candles.
Choose fragrances like apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice, or warm vanilla to infuse your space with the comforting scents of the season.
Wine Tasting with Cheese
Pairing wine with cheese is a timeless combination that never goes out of style.
The rich, earthy flavors of fall pair perfectly with a variety of wines and cheeses. Here are some pairing examples that elevate your tasting experience:
Cabernet Sauvignon and Aged Cheddar: The bold, fruity notes of Cabernet complement the sharpness of aged cheddar, creating a harmonious blend of flavors.
Pinot Noir and Brie: The light, fruity character of Pinot Noir contrasts beautifully with the creamy, buttery texture of Brie cheese.
Merlot and Gouda: Merlot's soft tannins and plum notes pair wonderfully with the caramel undertones of Gouda cheese.
Chardonnay and Camembert: The buttery, oaky notes of Chardonnay harmonize with the creamy, mild taste of Camembert.
Zinfandel and Blue Cheese: The spiciness of Zinfandel balances the pungent, bold flavors of blue cheese.
Combining candle making with wine tasting and cheese pairing is the ultimate way to celebrate the fall season.
It's an opportunity to slow down, connect with loved ones, and create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your home.
Now, if I still haven't convinced you to try this event.
